Orlando Magic

A 24-point lead blown in Game 6 forced a Game 7 that ended last season for this Magic roster, a bitter exit in the first round against the Detroit Pistons after a 45-37 regular season. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner have anchored the rebuild since Orlando drafted Banchero first overall in 2022, and both took another step forward as the roster's identity solidified around size and versatility. Jamahl Mosley departed for the New Orleans Pelicans this offseason, and Sean Sweeney takes over as head coach. Follow Event Tickets Center for updates as Orlando begins a new era on the sideline.

Orlando Magic at Kia Center

Kia Center seating chart options wrap a downtown Orlando bowl anchored by a 180-foot tower that lights up the skyline on game nights. The arena opened in 2010 with the tallest video board in the league at the time, and its lower bowl still holds the original mix of suites and loge boxes. Wide concourses make it easy to reach concessions between quarters. Check seat locations before planning a visit downtown.

Orlando Magic Schedule

The Detroit Pistons remain the team to beat after eliminating Orlando in seven games last spring, and that rivalry now carries real playoff weight into an 82-game season. Southeast Division matchups against the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks will shape the standings as always, while a new coaching staff settles in under Sean Sweeney. Orlando Magic games against last season's playoff field will draw the most attention as the roster looks to build on its recent postseason experience.

Orlando Magic NBA Playoffs and Finals

Orlando has reached the NBA Finals twice without winning, falling to the Houston Rockets in a sweep in 1995 and to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games during the Dwight Howard era in 2009. This year's playoff trip ended in the first round for the fifth straight appearance, a seven-game loss to the Pistons that included that gutting Game 6 collapse. Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner give this era a different foundation than past playoff runs, built on size and defense. A return to the second round would be real progress under Sean Sweeney.

Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner headline a young core still building toward its ceiling, and Sean Sweeney's arrival adds a fresh voice after years under Jamahl Mosley. Home crowds have brought energy to recent playoff runs, filling the building each spring as the postseason picture tightens, and this roster still has real upside left to show. Revenge against Detroit is circled early on the calendar. Grab Orlando Magic tickets at Event Tickets Center.
