Our Story

Learn more about Event Tickets Center and what we are all about.

A Vision Come to Life

It all started in 2005. Adam Young was a lifelong lover of live music and events. He found himself in the same shoes as so many others: fighting the obstacles to acquire a ticket to a Dave Matthews Band concert. The excitement of seeing DMB live was overshadowed by the struggle to simply get a ticket. With just $100 and a passion to share his love for concerts and sports, he set out to change the game.

We Live for Live Events

Adam teamed up with some of his closest partners and friends (Also major concert and sports enthusiasts). The result? A revolutionary way to purchase tickets, designed with simplicity, and security. With the fan experience at its center and a strong group of event lovers behind it, our commitment to providing a seamless and transparent process has been the driving force behind our growth.

Fans for Fans.

At Event Tickets Center, we don't just want to sell tickets; we want to connect fans with their favorite artists and teams and truly create those everlasting memories.

Today, Event Tickets Center is more than a place to buy tickets; it's driven by fans. We're a melting pot of event enthusiasts. Whether we're comedy fans, committed concert goers, theater enthusiasts, or die hard sports fans, we're united by a shared love for the energy of live events and the connections those events bring us.

Initiatives

More than selling tickets

ETC Cares

Event Tickets Center has also started a new initiative, called ETC Cares, which focuses on giving back to our local communities. ETC is committed to helping our local communities by partnering with non-profits such as Meals on Wheels members, pet food banks, kids clothing donation centers, and more. You can read more about these initiative on our ETC Cares page.

Coalition for Ticket Fairness

As a major partner of the Coalition for Ticketing Fairness, we advocate for legislation that protects consumers from unfair practices including the use of bots to purchase tickets, undisclosed pricing and fees, monopolies in the primary ticket market, and restrictions on transferring tickets to friends and family. Everyone deserves access to the events they love, without the hurdles.

NATB

Event Tickets Center is a major partner with the National Association of Ticket Brokers. Ticket brokers are a driving force to the ticketing industry, and ETC partners with the NATB to ensure fair ticketing practices for buyers and sellers alike. Event Tickets Center and the NATB stand for the rights of buyers including ticket transparency, ticket ownership, and guaranteed tickets.
