Raymond James Stadium - Tampa, FL

Tampa’s premier sports and entertainment venue, Raymond James Stadium is popularly known for an iconic pirate ship permanently docked in Buccaneer Cove, which fires cannons three times to announce a field goal and seven times to signal a touchdown. Affectionately known as the “Ray Jay,” the stadium is home to the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the South Florida Bulls NCAA football team, as well as the Outback Bowl and Monster Jam. It opened in 1998 with the Buccaneers playing against the Chicago Bears as its first event. Events held at the stadium include Super Bowl XXXV and Super Bowl XLIII, the International Indian Film Academy Awards, American Invitational Equestrian, 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship, Sunset Music Festival and concerts. The NFL announced that Super Bowl LV will be held at the stadium in 2021.

The Ray Jay boasts a technologically advanced HD video system and a sound system with more than 400 speakers, providing fans with the ultimate video and sound experience. With more than 500 food and beverage stands all over the stadium, there’s something for every appetite. Tours are available year-round on weekdays, subject to stadium availability. There are numerous parking lots available on a first-come, first-served basis, and tailgating is allowed.

Sunny weather and an array of activities await visitors to Tampa. The city has nine entertainment districts filled with restaurants, bars and attractions. During the day, visitors can check out the Tampa Sweethearts Cigar Company and J.C. Newman Cigar Co., or savor authentic Latin food in one of its restaurants. At the end of the day, locals enjoy clubbing and listening to Latin music until the wee hours of the night.
