There’s a certain charm to a night at a Montgomery Biscuits game, where Biscuits baseball feels like pure Southern summertime: kids chasing foul balls, locals swapping stories, and a first pitch that turns downtown into a meeting place. The Butter and Blue colors pop against the field, and the promotions keep the pace lively between innings. Start your plan with Event Tickets Center and make it a ballpark night.
As the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, Montgomery is where top prospects sharpen their approach and big-league rehab assignments can turn an ordinary series into a must-see stop. The Biscuits topped the Southern League’s South Division in 2025 with a 78–60 record, then carried that momentum into the postseason. With the 2026 Montgomery Biscuits schedule now in focus, circle weekend series early and plan around the best promo nights.
Riverwalk Stadium is part ballpark, part Montgomery landmark, built into a century-old train shed and set along the Alabama River downtown. The venue holds about 7,000 fans, with a mix of reserved seating and general-admission lawn seating, so you can watch from close-in sections or settle in for a wider view. Grab a drink at the Club Car Bar, roam the concourse, and keep an eye out for the Biscuits Cannon tradition.
The Montgomery Biscuits’ championship standard is real: the club won back-to-back Southern League titles in 2006 and 2007, a rare repeat that still sets the bar in franchise lore. In Double-A, the race is often shaped by split-season urgency, so the Southern League standings matter from the first homestand through the final road swing. Track the second-half push, because a hot month in August can flip the playoff picture fast.
Montgomery summer nights move to a different rhythm when the Biscuits are home, with themed promotions, family sections, and a crowd that gets loud in the late innings. Arrive early to stroll the riverfront, snap a photo with Big Mo, and claim your spot before first pitch. Then settle in for nine innings of pro baseball that still feels personal.
