- Clear bags made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC that do not exceed 16” x 16” x 8”
- Small non-clear clutch bags measuring 5” x 7” x ¾” or smaller, with or without a handle or strap
- Diaper bags or medical bags that can be brought into the ballpark alongside one of the clear plastic bag options
- Any non-clear bag larger than 5” x 7” x ¾”
- Backpacks (including clear backpacks), computer and camera bags
- Soft-sided coolers, hard coolers, or ice chests
- Drawstring bags and luggage of any kind
- Any clear or non-clear bag larger than 16” x 16” x 8”
- For fans with bags that do not comply with ballpark regulations, Nationals Park provides a binbox service. Binboxes are located outside the Right Field Gate and Home Plate Gate.
- Binboxes will be available two hours before the first pitch and remain in place one hour after the last rise.
- Guests can choose between a medium or large locker to check their belongings.
- Exceptions may be made for diaper bags and other bags used for medical reasons.

Washington Nationals, the park officially opened in 2008 with the Nationals playing against the
Atlanta Braves. Aside from all the home games of the Nationals, Nationals Park has played host to a number of events including galas and fundraisers, meetings, conventions, festivals and concerts. In 2018, Nationals Park hosted one of the biggest events in in MLB, the MLB All-Star Game.
Nationals Park has a seating capacity of 41,456, with about 22,000 seats located in the lower deck, and 12,000 at the upper deck. The concourse and the seating decks were designed in such a way that fans are provided with views of the different neighborhoods of the state capital. Nationals Park is equipped with state-of-the-art video and audio technology, including a 4,500-square-foot high-definition scoreboard, and over 600 linear feet of LED ribbon board along the inner bow. It also features about 1,800 padded luxury seats in the first few rows directly behind home plate, 2,500 club seats, 1,112 suite seats and a 500-seat founder’s club. There are more than 50 concession stands all over the stadium providing different types of food including healthy, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Nationals Park has 14 sanctioned parking lots and garages within the vicinity. A 90-minute tour is available during game-days and non-game-days. All gates open one and a half hours prior to most of the games.
