New York Islanders
The New York Islanders are resuming the remainder of their 2019-2020 season in the NHL "bubble," located in Toronto, ON. The "bubble" is intended to keep NHL staff, players, and their families safe from complications related to COVID-19, and does not permit fan attendance at games. The New York Islanders compete in the Atlantic Division of the National Hockey League. The team was founded in 1972, and has won quite a few games since then. Although they have to share the area with the Rangers, it does not seem to hold the Islanders back in the least bit. For many years they have been a top notch organization, and it is safe to say that this is going to hold true for more to come.
The Islanders play their home games at Barclays Center. The arena opened to the public on September 21, 2012 and has quite a bit to offer fans. This is why thousands upon thousands of fans show up for every Islanders home game.
Quite a few great players have suited up for the Islanders, and many of them helped lead the team to the four Stanley Cups in a row. Some of the best Islanders players of all time include Denis Potvin, Bob Bourne, Bryan Trottier, and Bob Nystrom among many others.
The New York Islanders have been competing at a high level since 1972, and there is no evidence that this is going to change anytime soon. It is surely a great time to be an Islanders fan!
