Empower Field At Mile High - Denver, CO

Known simply as Mile High, this stadium stands 5,000 feet above sea level—and as the home of the NFL's Denver Broncos, it's drawn more than 12 million visitors since it opened in 2001. Besides Broncos games, Mile High hosts other events such as lacrosse, college and high school football, both MLS and international soccer, and marching band events. Notable concerts have included performances by the Eagles, U2, Metallica and Luke Bryan.

The onsite venue parking is typically reserved for season ticket holders who have purchased permitted parking, but there are more than 12,000 spaces within walking distance in the surrounding area. Fans can also access the stadium via BroncosRide game day shuttles, two different light rail stations and the South Platte Trail of the Denver bike path network. While there are a few restaurants in close proximity to the stadium, a better selection can be found across the South Platte River in the heart of downtown Denver.

Tailgating is highly encouraged before Broncos games. It's permitted in several parking areas both on- and offsite, and the Mile High Mountain Village—the stadium's family-friendly tailgating eatery—is open to all ticket holders before every game. Strollers, alcohol, large umbrellas, laser pointers, banners, flags and signs are not permitted inside the venue. However, you can bring your own sealed food, along with a clear bag smaller than 12" x 12" x 6".
