Cleveland Guardians. Originally known as Jacobs Field, Progressive Field opened in 1994 with the Cleveland Indians (Now Cleveland Guardians) playing against the
Seattle Mariners. At the onset, the venue was envisioned to be a world-class facility specifically for baseball games, but through the years, it's played host to a number of special events including corporate events and concerts.
Progressive Field's most unique feature is the angled seat section, where the seats are angled 8 to 12 degrees, providing fans a clear view of the middle of the diamond. The Right Field District is a standing room-only area where fans can watch while enjoying a party atmosphere. A concessions area has a range of options representing different Cleveland neighborhoods, where diners can find everything from burgers and tacos to gourmet grilled cheese and ice cream. For little Guardians fans, the Kids Clubhouse has interactive activities like a small-scale baseball field and a two-story baseball bat slide.
