YouTube sensation and budding popstar JoJo Siwa first stepped into the spotlight in 2013 appearing as a finalist in the second season of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition. Siwa later appeared on the Lifetime reality series Dance Moms alongside her mother Jessalynn Siwa for two seasons before parting ways with the dance team and show in 2016. She has since transformed herself into a viral Internet sensation, releasing catchy, kid-friendly pop hits like "Kid in a Candy Store" and "Boomerang," the latter of which addresses the hot topic issue of online bullying. "Boomerang" has been certified platinum by the RIAA and has garnered over 600 million views on YouTube since it was uploaded in 2016. Siwa posts daily videos of her everyday life on her YouTube channel which currently boasts 8.1 million subscribers.
