Damien Escobar, also known as Dame Esco, is an American violinist from Jamaica, Queens. Escobar was the youngest student accepted into the Julliard School of Music at just 10 years old. He was one half of the professional violin duo Nuttin’ But Stringz (N.B.S.), that consisted of him and his brother, Tourie. Nuttin’ But Stringz enjoyed major success during their short life as a touring act, landing the brothers slots on television shows, cameos in major motion pictures and playing at the inauguration of President Barrack Obama, which won them two Emmys. Since 2012, Escobar has been touring and performing as a solo act.
