Torche is an American heavy metal band hailing from Miami, Florida. The group emerged in 2004, formed by former Floor frontman Steve Brooks, who was keen on continuing the thunderous sound of his former band. Torche has released a total of four studio albums including Torche (2005), Meanderthal (2008), Harmonicraft (2012), and Restarter (2015). Their fifth studio album, Admission, was released in 2019. Torche's distinct sound and style can be attributed to their detuned, droning guitars and grand, harmonic vocals, setting them apart from the crowd.
