It is also used for concerts, trade shows, and other events. Originally known as E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall was renamed in honor of former President William E. Rhodes before being converted into an arena in 1984. The impressive arena can seat up to 5,800 spectators across three levels and also contains 16 luxury suites that offer elevated views from their balcony seating areas. An extensive renovation occurred in 2006, giving spectators more comfortable amenities with more accessibility options.
