The Ovintiv Events Center is a multi-purpose events center located in Dawson Creek, BC. Opened in 1997, the 70,000-square-foot building has four distinct areas which can be used for events of various sizes and types depending on the user’s needs. The first area is an arena with seating for up to 6,000 people and an ice surface, the second is a meeting space with a capacity of 1000 people theatre-style or 500 banquet-style, and the third area offers dressing rooms for teams playing at either venue along with management offices and retail outlets, and finally, the fourth area which houses several concessions as well as office suites that are available to rent short term.

Over its long history, this multipurpose facility has hosted everything from theatrical productions to circuses as well as major concerts featuring big names like Carrie Underwood and Shania Twain.
