Liberty State Park is located in Jersey City, New Jersey, and has been open since 1976. Even though the park is not traditionally thought of as a concert venue, it is one that you do not want to pass by. Many great shows have taken place at Liberty State Park over the years, and as time goes by this number is sure to grow.
Perhaps the biggest benefit of Liberty State Park is the number of people it can accommodate for large events. For instance, in 1985 Hall and Oates played a concert to raise money for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty. More than 70,000 people showed up to make the concert one of the biggest successes that the park has ever seen.
Since 2006, Liberty State Park has hosted the Liberty Jazz Festival. Every year, this two day even is held the first weekend after Labor Day. The All Points West Music and Arts Festival is also held at the park.
As you can see, this outdoor venue has a lot to offer. A great location, plenty of space, and loads of fresh air have made Liberty State Park tickets hot sellers.
