Chicago native Jonathan McReynolds is a contemporary gospel artist who first stepped onto the scene in 2012. His unique style is characterized by an intimate fusion of modern R&B, jazz, and contemporary rock. McReynolds’ debut album Life Music was released in 2012 and charted on three Billboard charts following its release, including the Billboard 200, Gospel Albums (hitting the number three spot), and Independent Albums charts. Life Music: Stage Two followed in 2015, peaking even higher than his first on all three charts. His third full-length album, Make Room (2018), was recorded live and featured performances by artists like Tonya Baker, Dee-1, and more.
