El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso, TX

The El Paso County Coliseum is a versatile arena located in El Paso, Texas. This venue opened in May of 1942 which makes it one of the oldest in the area. As you can imagine, many great performers have taken the stage at the El Paso County Coliseum over the years. And luckily, this does not seem to be slowing down. Every year, more and more performers stop by the El Paso County Coliseum to entertain the thousands of fans who show up.

The seating capacity of El Paso County Coliseum is approximately 5,250. For concerts, the venue can seat up to 7,500 fans. Although this is not a large seating capacity, the atmosphere at the El Paso County Coliseum is hard to beat.

Many famous Mexican and American performers have delighted the audience at the El Paso County Coliseum. Some of the best include Elvis Presley in 1973, Alejandro Fernandez and Vicente Fernandez. In addition to regular concerts, other events such as monster truck rallies and motorbike races have taken place there.

In 2005, the venue was completely remodeled from top to bottom. Among the best improvements was a new LED display with the ability to show more than 16 million colors. This display is used to inform people of upcoming events.

The El Paso County Coliseum may be a bit long in the tooth, but its latest renovation has updated it both inside and out.
