Where Is He Performing
Bruno Mars is performing at Bobby Dodd Stadium at 7:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The stadium, home to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, is expected to house over 50,000 eager fans for each show. The stadium is located on the north side of Atlanta, about 12 miles north of the airport. Fans flying in can take the Red or the Gold line of the MARTA train system from the airport to the stadium.
Bobby Dodd Stadium Bag Policy
The stadium has specific bag policies. Small clutch purses no larger than 4.5” by 6.5” are allowed. One clear plastic resealable gallon storage bag is allowed per attendee. Tote bags up to 12” by 6” by 12” are permitted if they are clear. Make sure to measure your bag before heading to the concer to ensure you have no issues with bringing it into the stadium. Backpacks are prohibited whether or not they are clear. Clear plastic storage bags and tote bags must not be tinted.
Phone Policy
While some past Bruno Mars performances have experimented with phone-free or limited-phone experiences, this show is not officially designated as phone-free. That said, fans are encouraged to be respectful during the performance. Small, handheld cameras are permitted.
When to Arrive
Arrive to the stadium up to an hour before the show starts to ensure you have time to park, get through security, and find your seats. The show begins at 7:00 PM each night, so a 6:00 PM arrival time gives you comfortable wiggle room to sit down before the first opener begins. There are no GA or pit tickets to these shows, so there will be no need for fans to wait in line to score the best viewing spots. Fans at other stops on the tour have said DJ PeeWee goes on at 7:00 PM, Leon Thomas takes the stage around 8:00 PM, and Bruno Mars comes on around 8:50 PM. Use these times as guidance if you plan to skip the openers.
The Openers
The Atlanta shows will feature Leon Thomas and DJ PeeWee (Anderson .Paak) as supporting acts. After winning Best R&B Album for his album MUTT and being nominated for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammys, Leon Thomas is becoming a huge star in his own right. After Anderson .Paak opens as DJ alter ego, DJ PeeWee, he will also join Bruno Mars for Silk Sonic hits like “Leave the Door Open.”
Will Weather Be a Factor
Many fans are concerned about the forecast for the upcoming weekend’s shows, with current reports showing a 40% chance of rain around showtime on Saturday. However, no plans of rescheduling or cancelling the show have been announced. The show will go on unless high winds or lightning cause safety concerns at the stadium, so plan to dress accordingly.
