The Dollop is a podcast created by history buff and comedian Dave Anthony. The podcast came to be after Anthony had the idea of writing up an unknown story from American history, read it to a different comedian each week, and record their unfiltered and hilarious reactions. His first go-round featured comedian Gareth Reynolds, becoming an instant hit with listeners. It was such a hit with fans, that requests to keep Gareth on as co-host was fulfilled. The Dollop has since grown to become one of the most popular podcasts for comedy lovers and history buffs alike. It has garnered millions of downloads and become a regular presence at the top of the podcast charts, selling out live shows in both the US and Australia.
