About The Crocodile

Located in Seattle, Washington, The Crocodile is a ballroom that first opened its doors in 1991. Currently, it’s under the ownership of Marcus Charles, Susan Silver, Sean Kinney, Eric Howk and Peggy Curtis.

Please note that The Crocodile has a strict bag policy.

The items not permitted at the venue include:

  • Cans, bottles, glass, or any container, including reusable water bottles.
  • Outside food or beverages (outside alcohol will result in immediate removal).
  • Backpacks or large bags exceeding 12” x 12” x 8” in size.
  • Illegal drugs and paraphernalia (will result in immediate removal).
  • Weapons of any kind, including firearms, pocket knives, leatherman tools, pepper spray, tear gas, handcuffs, stun guns, wallet chains, studded belts, etc.
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bikes, etc.
  • Animals/pets (except for service animals).
  • Audio/video recording equipment.
  • Other items such as drones, balloons, beach balls, laser pens, noisemaking devices, whistles, air horns, poles/sticks for flags or banners, large signs, pamphlets, fliers, handbills (unless approved in advance), or any other item deemed inappropriate or dangerous by venue management.


What to Bring to The Crocodile

When you come to an event at The Crocodile, please make sure to bring your ticket and a valid ID, especially if you want to purchase alcohol. We recommend bringing a credit or debit card and also a little cash. Because this is an indoor venue, weather is often not a factor. However, as it is climate-controlled, it might be worth bringing a light jacket just in case it gets a little chilly inside.
