Since 2009, Jay Falzone, Stephen Smith, and Dan Lavender have built an entire cottage industry out of two fictional sisters from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. As Delphine and Carmela Calamari, the pair turned a parody of public-access cooking shows into a full-fledged comedy-musical, complete with live food prep and audience members pulled up to help. Many show versions later, the format still turns on cooking-show mayhem as much as it does on choreography. Find tickets to see The Calamari Sisters live at Event Tickets Center.

The Calamari Sisters Tour Dates

Recent stops have brought the sisters to Regent Theatre in Arlington, Massachusetts, then on to OFC Creations Theatre Center for a holiday run of Home for the Holidays with the Calamari Sisters in Rochester, New York. The Rochester stand runs multiple nights and includes both evening and matinee shows, giving families more than one chance to catch the sisters' seasonal routine. Past stops have included a 2024 staging of Feast of the Seven Fishes at The Rex Theatre in Manchester, New Hampshire, a version of the show built entirely around Christmas Eve seafood traditions.

The Calamari Sisters Setlist and Concert Info

At Auburn Public Theater in Auburn, New York, in 2026, Delphine and Carmela built their "Bun in the Oven" show around comedic reworkings of "You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby," "When You're Good to Mama," "High Hopes," "Rainbow Connection," and "Puttin' on the Ritz," each one bent toward a Brooklyn baby shower gone sideways. The show makes room for both the musical numbers and the sisters' usual audience-participation bits between courses. Expect the cooking to take a back seat to the comedy here, with Lamaze jokes standing in for the usual kitchen mishaps.

This isn't a scripted play with a few jokes tucked in; it's a full comedy-musical where the songs, the food, and the crowd all drive the same bit, and it rarely plays the same way twice. Between the Regent Theatre stop and the extended Rochester run, there's more than one chance to catch Delphine and Carmela this fall without crossing state lines twice. Families looking for a night out that isn't just another dinner-and-a-movie will find it here. Browse The Calamari Sisters' showtimes at Event Tickets Center.
