Anne Erin “Annie” Clark, known by her stage name St. Vincent, is an American musician, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who began her music career after studying at Berklee College of Music when she joined the Polyphonic Spree. She was also a member of Sufjan Stevens’s touring band before she formed her own band in 2006. St. Vincent’s music is a blend of soft rock, experimental rock, electropop, and jazz influences. Her fourth solo album, St. Vincent, released in 2014, won her a Grammy for Best Alternative Album, making her the first solo female performer in 20 years to win a Grammy in that category. Her Fear The Future Tour runs through 2018.
