Shakey Graves, born Alejandro Rose-Garcia, is an Americana musician from Austin, Texas. He gained recognition for his one-man band set up, which consisted of a modified suitcase that functioned as both a kick drum and a tambourine stand. His unique style landed him a gig as the official “busker” for the Edward Sharpe and Mumford & Sons Railroad Revival Tour in 2011, playing music for guests entering each venue throughout the tour. Since then, Shakey Graves has been touring as a three-piece band, releasing several studio albums and making appearances on late night television. His latest album, Can’t Wake Up, was released in May 2018.
