Roos Field is an outdoor college football stadium located on the campus of Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington. It was built on April 27th, 1977, and originally named Woodward Stadium, after a prominent local family. Extensive renovations and expansions between 2011-2013 refurbished many of the stadium amenities and the facility was renamed "Roos Field" after Eastern Washington University President George F. Roos. It operates as an outdoor American football venue with an artificial turf surface and seating for 8700 fans.
