With a career that’s spanned nearly six decades, Roger Daltrey has come to be known as one of the most magnetic frontmen in rock and roll history. Born in East Acton, London, Daltrey showed academic promise growing up, always ranking at the top of his class. After graduating from high school, he rebelled and decided to pursue his passion for music rather than attending university. It was the best decision he could have made, as his rebellion yielded the formation of rock band, The Who. He began his solo career in 1973 while still fronting for The Who and went on to release eight studio albums, five compilation albums and one live album. Daltrey has won several awards as both a solo artist and as lead singer for the band. He has been ranked as one of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time by Rolling Stone. His tenth solo album, As Long as I Have You, was released to critical acclaim in June 2018.
