Allen’s debut album, Alright, Still, earned her nominations for the Grammy Awards, Brit Awards and MTV Video Music Awards. Her second studio album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, debuted at number one in 2009 on the U.K. Albums Chart and ARIA Charts and was well received by critics. It yielded hit singles like “The Fear” and she was awarded a Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist at the 2010 show. In 2013 with her third album, Sheezus, earned her generally positive reviews and was supported by two singles, “Hard Out Here,” and “Air Balloon.”
