The Hoosier Dome, now known as the RCA Dome, was a domed stadium with a lot of history in downtown Indianapolis. Originally opened as the RCA Dome in 1984, it was one of the largest venues in central Indiana until it was demolished in 2008. With its unique dome-like design and towering ceiling, the RCA Dome had a capacity of 17,923 seats and hosted a variety of events ranging from football games and concerts to basketball games and rock concerts.
