See Tom Felton & Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway This Spring
Planning a trip to the Big Apple this spring? Seeing a Broadway show is a bucket list experience you won’t want to miss. For Harry Potter fans, this is an unmatched time to experience Broadway, as two of the biggest Harry Potter stars are gracing Broadway stages this spring.
Tom Felton on Broadway
Tom Felton, who as a child played the conniving Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, has made his Broadway debut, returning to the iconic role he originated. His run in the role began in November 2025 and has recently been extended through May. If you want to catch Felton play Malfoy, book tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre any day from now through May 10, 2026.
Felton has planned outages for the 7:00 PM show on Tuesday, March 17th, and the 1:00 PM show on Wednesday, March 18th. An understudy will be taking his place. Unplanned outages are uncommon but possible for live events like this as well.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opened on Broadway in 2018. After COVID, it was restaged as a shorter production in 2022. The play is now just under 3 hours long, including its 20-minute intermission. It’s located at the Lyric Theatre, accessible right in the heart of Times Square in New York City. Felton and other stars of the show will occasionally stage door after the show as well.
Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway
Daniel Radcliffe opened as the unnamed protagonist of Every Brilliant Thing on Broadway yesterday, Thursday, March 14th. Celebrities from Olympians Evan Bates and Madison Chock to actor Steve Buscemi were in attendance for opening night. The show will run for 13 weeks at the Hudson Theatre. Reviews from opening night praised Radcliffe for an energetic, fourth-wall-breaking, and vulnerable performance.
Radcliffe does not currently have any planned outages scheduled. He is expected to perform all eight shows a week for the show’s run. Unplanned outages are always possible and give understudies a chance to shine.
Every Brilliant Thing
The play debuted in 2014 and has had several festival runs and off-Broadway stints. Daniel Radcliffe is playing a key role in bringing the show to Broadway for the first time. The show is approximately 85 minutes with no intermission. The show uniquely features audience participation and even features a few seats on the stage for a barrier-breaking experience.
Previous Shows
This is not Radcliffe’s first Broadway show. His Broadway debut was in 2008, and he has since become a celebrated member of the New York theatre scene, even winning a Tony award for his performance in Merrily We Roll Along.
Other Stars on Broadway this Year
The Harry Potter greats are not the only celebrities gracing Broadway stages this year. Broadway veterans Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff are performing in stage shows of their own, and Oscar-winner Adrien Brody is making his Broadway debut this month in The Fear of 13.
Lea Michele in Chess: The Musical
Glee-star and ultra-talented singer Lea Michele is starring in Chess: The Musical at the Imperial Theatre.
