The song peaked at number 6 on the ARIA Singles chart and went on to become certified triple platinum, launching Joy’s career to worldwide success. He has gone on to tour the globe as a solo act as well as an opening act for singer songwriter and Grammy Award winning pop artist, Taylor Swift. Joy has since released two studio albums, with the latest titled Nation of Two, which dropped in February 2018.
