New Jersey Symphony Tickets
The New Jersey Symphony has anchored orchestral music across the state for more than a century, splitting its season between five cities under the direction of Music Director Xian Zhang. The 2026-27 season marks Zhang's eleventh year with the orchestra, spanning 54 mainstage programs that mix beloved staples from Brahms and Rachmaninoff with new commissions and East Coast premieres. New Jersey Symphony Tour Dates
The season opens at Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre in Red Bank with a Hollywood Hits program pairing Bernstein's West Side Story suite with music from Spirited Away, then repeats the same program the next afternoon at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. From there, the orchestra rotates through Newark, Red Bank, Morristown, New Brunswick, and Princeton for the rest of the year, returning to Red Bank for a Star Wars film concert in May 2027. Most classical programs repeat across several of those cities, while special events such as the film concerts play a shorter list of stops.

At its October 2025 season opener, Xian Zhang led the orchestra through Jessie Montgomery's Hymn for Everyone before bringing out pianist Joyce Yang for Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, then closed the night with Dvořák's Symphony No. 8. The concert marked the start of Zhang's tenth season as music director, a milestone that the orchestra built the whole program around. Expect a similar shape most nights this season: a shorter contemporary piece to open, a featured soloist in the middle, and a full symphonic work to close, though the specific composers and soloists change from program to program.
