The group's earliest incarnation dates back to 2008, when members (then neighbors in an apartment building) met and formed The Cartunes. After losing a couple of members, the group reformed under the name Badflower, going on to play several shows in Los Angeles and securing a weekly residency at The Key Club where they eventually captured the attention of radio host and former NSYNC member Lance Bass. In 2013 they released their debut EP About A Girl, followed by a second EP Temper in 2016. Their full-length studio debut album OK, I'm Sick arrived in 2019.
