Hip-hop duo Suicideboys (stylized as $uicideboy$) emerged from New Orleans in 2014, founded by cousins Ruby da Cherry and Scrim (stylized as $crim). The two rose to prominence posting their music on the sharing platform SoundCloud, demanding attention with their harsh lyricism and abrasive beats.
