SDCCU Stadium - San Diego, CA

Since opening in 1967, SDCCU Stadium has been the site of numerous momentous events in football and baseball history. Located in the heart of Mission Valley, the venue is the home of the San Diego State Aztecs football team, and it was once also the home of the NFL’s Chargers.

Sports fans outside of San Diego may recognize SDCCU Stadium, as it’s hosted the Super Bowl three times—in 1988, 1998 and 2003. The stadium was also home to the 1978 and 1992 MLB All-Star Games. SDCCU Stadium is the only stadium to host both the Super Bowl and the World Series in the same year, and it’s one of three stadiums to host the World Series, MLB All-Star Game and Super Bowl. While sports are most often the main event at SDCCU, the venue also hosts RV shows, food festivals and concerts.

SDCCU Stadium has thousands of parking spaces with lots opening four hours before games to allow for tailgating. For those who’d prefer not to drive, the Mission Valley trolley is an easy way to get to the stadium. Doors usually open 1.5 hours before events, and the stadium has 13 entrances to cut down on long entrance lines. With over 100 concession kiosks offering an assortment of food and beverages, there’s no need to leave the stadium to enjoy a meal.
