Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake City, UT
Rice-Eccles Stadium opened in 1927. From 1927 to 1972, the venue was known as Ute Stadium. Then from 1972 to 1998 it was known simply as Rice Stadium. Finally, Rice-Eccles Stadium became the name, and it appears that this is not going to change anytime in the near future.
The seating capacity at Rice-Eccles Stadium is 45,634. This is plenty big enough to give the Utes a huge home field advantage. And with modern updates, Rice-Eccles Stadium has a lot to offer fans.
All in all, Rice-Eccles Stadium has a rich history, but has also been updated many times over the years. For this reason, it is one of the best in the Mountain West Conference.
