Patton Oswalt is a stand-up comic and actor from Portsmouth, Virginia. He began his career in the early 1990’s, working as a writer for the popular sketch comedy television series MADtv. After gaining recognition for his role on the comedy series, he wrote and starred in an HBO comedy special, which caught the attention of show business executives. He landed a role on the long running popular sitcom ‘The King of Queens’. Since the show ended, Oswalt has continued writing comedy and live performance tours.
