The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is located in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens, New York. Built-in 1977, it was designed to be home to the U.S. Open and other major tennis events. Since its opening, it has held 11 Grand Slams, including two Olympic tournaments (in 2000 and 2012), professional men's and women's tournaments throughout the years, as well as music concerts and other special events over the years, drawing more than 700,000 visitors annually from across the country and around the world.
