Memorial Stadium is located in Bloomington, Indiana, and serves as the home field for the University of Indiana Hoosiers football team. Although Memorial Stadium is not one of the most popular stadiums in the Big Ten Conference, it does have plenty of benefits to offer.
Memorial Stadium opened in October of 1960. As you can see, this venue is much newer than many in the country. With this new age, it is safe to say that Memorial Stadium will be around for many more years to come. And of course, several renovation projects have taken place in order to keep it up to date.
The current seating capacity at Memorial Stadium is 50,180. Although this makes Memorial Stadium one of the smaller venues in the conference, it does not mean that the fan atmosphere is below par. In fact, when the Hoosiers are winning big fans have a great time making noise.
All in all, Memorial Stadium is one of the centerpieces of Hoosiers athletics.
