Eccles Coliseum is an impressive 8,500-seat multi-purpose venue located on the campus of Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. It has been a cornerstone of the local entertainment scene since it opened in 1957, originally with a capacity of 7,500 people which was eventually expanded to its current capacity of 14,000. It is home to the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds football team and also hosts many other events such as concerts, commencement ceremonies, and ice shows.
