ARMY Events in Arlington
BTS shows start well before showtime. Fans come together to organize fan events, projects, and meetups throughout host cities before each concert. In Arlington, ARMY members have come together to organize two fan-led projects.
For the first show, they’ll hand out 100,000 banners for the crowd to hold up during the song “Please,” and for the second night, they’ll hand out paper butterflies to hold up during the song “Into the Sun.” The community spirit is part of what makes BTS shows special; don’t miss the chance to join the fun in Arlington.
Where/When is BTS Performing
BTS will take the stage at AT&T Stadium in Arlington at 8:00 PM on August 15 and 16. The stadium doors open at 5:30 PM, giving fans plenty of time to enter, find their seats, purchase merchandise, and settle in before the show begins.
Getting There
AT&T Stadium is located in Arlington, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth. Most fans will drive to the venue, and traffic is expected to be heavier than usual before and after both BTS concerts.
There are no robust public transit options in place to travel from Fort Worth or Dallas to Arlington, so fans should plan their rides accordingly. Driving, rideshare, or booking a Greyhound bus will likely be the easiest option to access the venue from neighboring cities.
When to Arrive
The AT&T Stadium parking lots open at 9:30 AM, giving early-arriving fans plenty of time to gather before the concert. Stadium entrances open at 5:30 PM, while the show begins at 8:00 PM.
For the smoothest arrival, plan to arrive at least one to two hours before showtime. Arlington traffic can become extremely heavy on major event days, especially with thousands of fans traveling to AT&T Stadium. Arriving early also gives you time to explore the venue, pick up merchandise, and get through security without rushing.
Parking
AT&T Stadium offers multiple parking areas surrounding the venue, though parking availability and prices vary depending on the event. Fans should plan and purchase parking in advance if possible, as spaces closest to the stadium typically fill up first.
With parking lots opening in the morning and fans expected to arrive early, traffic around Arlington and the surrounding entertainment district may increase throughout the day. Allow extra time for parking, walking to the stadium, and entering through security.
Bag Policy
AT&T Stadium enforces a strict bag policy for the safety and security of attendees. Review the bag restrictions, and measure your bag in advance to avoid an inconvenient situation upon arrival at the stadium. Fans may bring a clear bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or a small clutch no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”. Guests are also permitted to bring one gallon-sized reusable storage bag and any bags deemed medically necessary. All bags are subject to inspection before entry.
BTS Official Light Sticks
BTS Arlington ARMY is planning to create a unique atmosphere at the Texas shows by paying homage to BTS’s past. The fan project, Texas Army Unites created and distributed Red Bullets, BTS’s original light sticks, for fans to hold during the show.
Aside from these fan-created light sticks, BTS Official Light Sticks (called ARMY Bombs) are permitted within the stadium and are even sold and available for pickup at specific locations throughout the stadium grounds. Order your light stick before arriving at the stadium to ensure it's available for pickup once you arrive.
Freebie Policy
AT&T Stadium has not published any specific freebie policy regarding the small fan items and gifts that are popular at BTS shows. According to normal permitted item guidelines, freebie items that fit into regulation-sized clear festival bags are allowed. These items often include photo cards and keychains that fans exchange at the show.
Cashless Venue
AT&T Stadium is a cashless venue, so fans should be prepared to pay with a credit or debit card, mobile payment, or other accepted digital payment method. This applies to purchases throughout the stadium, including concessions and merchandise.
What to Expect: ARIRANG World Tour
By the time BTS reaches Arlington, the group will already have completed most stops on the ARIRANG World Tour, giving fans a clear idea of what to expect from the production. The show features a massive stadium setup centered around a 360-degree rotating stage, allowing BTS to perform throughout the venue and create an immersive experience for fans on all sides.
BTS Opening Act
BTS concerts do not have traditional opening acts. Instead, BTS uses on-screen projections, dubbed VCRs, for openings and transitions between acts. Rather than watching an unknown opener, fans can sit back and enjoy more of their favorite K-pop artists.
