From Chapel Hill, NC comes folk duo Watchhouse, formerly known as Mandolin Orange. Multi-instrumentalist Andrew Marlin and violinist/guitarist Emily Frantz join forces to deliver an earthy mix of bluegrass, folk, country, gospel, and pop. With a sound best described as modern American roots, the music of Watchhouse is characterized by tight vocal harmonies and virtuosic musicianship. The duo has released a total of five albums since first joining forces in 2009.
