The audio is entirely reimagined, too: while maintaining the classic voices of Judy Garland and company, every scene is powered by an 80-piece orchestra played through the venue’s 167,000‑strong speaker array, delivering spatial sound with breathtaking clarity.

A few less impactful scenes were trimmed, including bits of the Munchkinland dance sequences, the confrontation between Aunt Em and Miss Gulch, and, most notoriously, the Cowardly Lion’s solo, "If I Were King of the Forest."
