The Paramount Theatre originally opened in 1930 as a movie theatre. It enjoyed major success as one of the premiere movie houses in the Rocky Mountain region and has evolved over time to host live shows and concerts. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is home to one of two remaining Wurlitzer theatre organs in the United States (the other is in New York City).
