Alt/pop rockers One Republic emerged in the late 2000s, rising to the top of the charts on the strength of their remixed lead single “Apologize” off their debut album Dreaming Out Loud (2007). The track reached number one in 16 countries, earning the group their first Grammy Award in 2008. A second single released from the album, “Stop and Stare,” saw more of the same success, leading to a platinum certification for Dreaming Out Loud. One Republic has released three additional studio albums since making their breakthrough debut, including Waking Up (2009), Native (2013, their highest charting album to date), and Oh My My (2016), the latter of which marked a shift in the group’s sound and featured several collaborations. To date, One Republic has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.
