Lo-fi electro-pop singer/songwriter Clairo emerged in 2013, gaining a small but loyal following after releasing dozens of home recordings online in 2013. She rose to prominence after her single "Pretty Girl" became a viral hit on YouTube in 2017, garnering over 35 million views. "Flaming Hot Cheetos" followed in 2018, becoming yet another viral sensation. Clairo shifted her style from a bedroom-pop sound to a style more in line with straight up pop with the release of her debut full-length studio album Immunity in 2019.
