Camping World Stadium - Orlando, FL (7 Upcoming Events)

Orlando’s Camping World Stadium first opened in 1936 as a Works Progress Administration project commissioned by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Originally called Orlando Stadium, the venue went through several evolutions, the most recent one occurring in 2014. The stadium went through demolition, reconstruction and a modern redesign—a $207.7 million project—to update the facility and draw high-profile events like college football, NFL preseason games and concerts. With a seating capacity of 65,000, Camping World Stadium’s signature annual events include the Pro Bowl, Florida Blue Florida Classic, Camping World Bowl, Citrus Bowl and Monster Jam.

Located west of downtown Orlando, the venue is easily accessible from I-4. Eastbound traffic can exit SR 408 at Tampa Avenue, while westbound travelers can exit SR 408 at Rosalind Avenue. No fewer than 15 parking lots surround Camping World Stadium, though not all of them are open for every event. Check the venue’s site for each event’s parking specifications.

Small bags are permitted, and some events may be subject to a clear bag policy. Several ATMs are scattered within and just outside the venue. As for arrival time, doors usually open an hour prior to the event’s showtime, while the box office opens 90 minutes prior to an event. Guests are welcome to use the venue’s free Wi-Fi.
