Pre-Show Events in Baltimore
The hype for BTS at M&T Bank Stadium doesn’t just begin on show day. Welcome to Boramore is a fan-created welcome project featuring ARMY meetups and events all around Baltimore. ARMY events include a welcome station at the airport for arriving fans, a stamp rally, specialty drinks at local bars, Korean craft workshops, flash tattoo events, and more.
Where/When Is BTS Performing
BTS will take the stage at M&T Bank Stadium at 8:00 PM on August 10 and 11. The venue is located 9 miles from the airport and is accessible by car, transit, or rideshare. The Baltimore light rail travels from the airport to downtown, with a stop located directly across the street from the venue. Many parking lots around the venue are sold out for the show days. If you’re planning to drive, make parking arrangements in advance so you’re not left circling endlessly on show day.
Stadium Bag Policy
M&T Bank Stadium enforces a strict bag policy for the safety and security of attendees. Review the bag restrictions, and measure your bag in advance to avoid an inconvenient situation upon arrival at the stadium. Small clutches or handbags smaller than 4.5” by 6.5” are permitted, as well as clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12” by 6” by 12”. Guests are also permitted to bring one gallon-sized reusable storage bag and any bags deemed medically necessary.
Plan to travel light for the easiest entry experience, and expect whatever you bring to be searched by security upon arrival.
BTS Official Light Sticks
BTS Official Light Sticks (ARMY Bombs) are permitted within the stadium and are even sold and available for pickup at specific locations throughout the stadium grounds. Order your light stick before arriving at the stadium to ensure it's available for pickup.
Freebie Policy
M&T Bank Stadium has not published any specific freebie policy regarding the small fan items and gifts, often including photo cards and keychains, that are popular at BTS shows. According to normal permitted item guidelines, freebie items that fit into regulation-sized clear bags are allowed.
When to Arrive at M&T Bank Stadium
BTS shows are much more than just concerts; the external events, meet-ups, and merch stands bring fans together well before the actual show begins. M&T Bank Stadium parking opens at 3:00 PM, at which time fans will no doubt already be mingling and lining up for limited-edition merch and barricade spots in GA.
Welcome to Boramore is hosting a pre-show party near the venue from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM both days.
The stage at BTS shows is a 360-degree rotating platform, meaning stadium capacity is higher than at many other concerts, where fans are seated in a portion of the venue. As a result, security lines can be longer than usual. Some fans report waits of an hour or longer to get through security. Arrive early to account for extra entry time.
The gates of M&T Bank Stadium typically open two hours before an event, so 6:00 PM for BTS. Arrival by 5:30 or 6:00 PM should give you plenty of time to get through security, exchange freebies, explore the venue, and find your seats before the show starts at 8:00 PM. Arrive earlier if you want even more time to interact with fellow ARMY members and enjoy the collective excitement of the pre-show atmosphere.
BTS Opening Set
BTS concerts do not have traditional opening acts. Instead, BTS uses on-screen projections, dubbed VCRs, for openings and transitions between acts. Rather than watching an unknown opener, fans can sit back and enjoy more of their favorite K-pop artists.
ARIRANG Tour Setlist
The ARIRANG World Tour is divided into three acts and has featured a rotating selection of songs during the encore portion of the show. While the setlist can change slightly from night to night, fans attending the Baltimore concerts can expect a mix of newer tracks, remixes, and classic BTS hits.
