Beaver Stadium - University Park, PA

Beaver Stadium is located in University Park, Pennsylvania on the campus of Pennsylvania State University. The venue is named after former Pennsylvania Governor James A. Beaver. Although Beaver Stadium is old, it still has plenty to offer both fans as well as the Nittany Lions football team.

Beaver Stadium opened in 1909, but was rebuilt in 1960. This rebuilding process went a long way in making the venue what it is today. In fact, without this project it is safe to say that Beaver Stadium would not be the home of the football team at this time.

The seating capacity at Beaver Stadium is 107,282. This number makes the venue the second largest in all of college football. So as you can imagine, when the Nittany Lions take the field, Beaver Stadium can rock like none other.

Beaver Stadium is known as one of the most difficult venues for opposing teams to play. And as long as the seating capacity stays the way it is, this is not going to change anytime in the near future.
