Ak-Chin Pavilion - Phoenix, AZ

Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the Ak-Chin Pavilion is an open-lawn venue known for hosting live band concerts and other performances from notable acts such as Green Day and Foreigner. The venue has also held major music festivals such as The Vans Warped Tour, Ozzfest, and Lollapalooza.

8,000 seats are located under the pavilion roof while 12,000 more are located on the hillside. Seat cushions and lawn chairs with backseats not higher than nine inches from the base are allowed. There are also lawn seats available for rent. All events take place rain or shine. Patrons may bring rain jackets, ponchos and small umbrellas in case of possible rain.

In general, the parking fee is included in the ticket price, and lots open two hours before the show. VIP parking is also available, and fees vary depending on the type of vehicle. Carpooling is highly encouraged due to potential traffic congestion.

Outside food and drink are not allowed. There are many concessions available for purchase inside the venue. Alcoholic drinks require ID prior to purchase.

Small bags are advisable but are still subject for inspection. Small digital and disposable cameras are allowed. Flash photography, video and removable lens cameras, professional cameras, selfie sticks, video and audio recorders are not allowed.

Inns and hotels could be found a few minutes’ drive away from the venue. There are also other activities visitors can enjoy before and after the concert such as tours of the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley, hot air balloon rides and waterparks.
