Agganis Arena - Boston, MA

Owned and operated by Boston University, Agganis Arena is multi-purpose indoor stadium on the campus of BU, located at 925 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, MA. The arena is named in honor of the highly respected former Boston Red Sox first baseman and BU’s first All-American football star Harry Agganis. The multi-use venue seats 7,200 during concerts and stage events, and 6,150 when ice is in place.

During hockey season, the ice arena, known as the Jack Parker Rink, is the home of NCAA Division 1 and 2009 National Champions the Boston University Terriers. The rink is named after long standing Terrier head coach and former Terrier center Jack Parker, currently revered as one of college hockey’s most successful coaches.

Agganis Arena hosts BU basketball games, live musical performances, and the CRASH-B World Indoor Rowing’s annual championship. Highly ranked men’s and women’s basketball teams compete here, and the auditorium has held a variety of events including TNA Wrestling’s “Slammiversary”, appearances from national figures such as Bob Dylan, Dave Chappelle and Barrack Obama, and the NHL Women’s Frozen Four.
