Cincinnati songwriter Yoni Wolf started using Why? as a stage name in 1997, then turned it into a band in 2004. Eight studio albums later, the project still moves between indie rock, alternative hip-hop, and homemade pop. Why? band members include Wolf on vocals and keys, his older brother Josiah on drums, plus multi-instrumentalists Doug McDiarmid, Matt Meldon, and Mol Sullivan. Why? Tour Dates

Columbus gets opening night, with Natalie's Grandview hosting the first show of the Why? band tour in November 2026. The route then heads east for a night at Arts at the Armory in Somerville, Massachusetts, swings back through The Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids, and closes out on the West Coast in December 2026.
