Meet System of a Down

System of a Down is a heavy metal band hailing from Glendale, California. Formed in 1994, they attained commercial success with three of their five studio albums debuting at the number one spot on the Billboard 200. Their hit single “B.Y.O.B.” won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance of 2006 just before the group took a break from the spotlight, entering a four-year hiatus. Following weeks of Internet speculation, System of a Down made their triumphant return in November 2010 embarking on a global tour that would last the next few years. Talk of a sixth album being in the works has come up, however it remains unclear if we will be hearing new tracks from the metal group any time soon. System of a Down has sold over 40 million records worldwide and continues to tour performing their fan favorites around the globe today.
